I've had an Alpari account for about 2 years now. At first when I was opening an account I got rather frustrated as they didn't reply to my queries within a couple of days. Sometimes it took up to a week. It made me want to go to London and tell how to do customer service.

The trading is okay on it. There are quite a few re-quotes but that's understandable as the markets can move quite quick at some point. I haven't withdrawn any money out from them yet so I can't comment.

I took part in their bonus where one deposits $2000 and gets $200 if one trades 20 round lots by a particular time period. I traded the 20 lots and got my money very fast without hassle.

Their spreads aren't the greatest but if they're making money on the spreads they're likely to be a company which will be around a long time, and I want to be with a stable company.

A bonus is that it's regulated by the FSA so I'm not on my own if they try to 'do me over'.

Overall I'd give Alpari UK a 3.7 out of 5.
