I have taken $200 to $1000 before; a very similar scenario, and it took about a month. However, when I reached the $1000, I continued trading in the same risky manner that enabled me to reach this level in the first place, and guess what... I lost all of that $1000, down to something like $0.76 (cents!).
For you to achieve this, you'll need to break every money management rule in the 'book', and go 'All In'.
So yes, it IS possible, however, for you to achieve it, it's highly risky, and fairly improbable.
I should also add, when I was trying to increase my account from $200 to $1000, I had a lot of restless nights where I had to keep waking up and checking the rates. After a month, I was so mentally drained and wiped out that I became irrational and didn't care; I just wanted to be out, even if it meant all my money was gone. Yes, I did say irrational!
