Forex is too, risky so why you still doing trading.

Everyone always says, that forex is risky. Is it that risky? If it is why are we still out here trading in this risky market. What you think about this.

Forex is risky, no doubt, but the reason people still do it is because of one word: Potential. The potential for gain trading foreign currencies is much higher than the potential gains of government bonds.

It goes like this, in general, in all markets around the world:

Riskier the market: Higher gains expected to justify the risk.
Safer the market: Lower gains expected as it's low risk.

If you can become good at Forex, you're operating your own business, you can do it from anywhere: This gives you one precious thing which all people crave for: Freedom.

That is why people still trade Forex, even when it's risky.

I know that forex is risky but I believe in this business we will find success. Getting success is not an easy task for every one. All people desire success but the difference is their level of knowledge and sharpness . If trader set their self in this market, they will work hard and are determined with serious learning, patience and discipline.

I hope you keep the spirit, wish you luck, thanks

I think I need to correct, or at least clarify, some statements that have been made here. The forex market is not what makes forex trading risky. Forex is actually one of the lowest volatility markets available (see Looking at Volatility Across Markets). It's not the market that is risky. It is the behavior of traders which makes forex trading risky. You can lose just as much money in stocks or any other market if you don't manage risk properly.

    Am I right???

exactly, you could not have said it better!! totally agree with you.
proper risk and account management is important and one should not take them lightly. this is not only for manual trading but for autotrading (copying other traders signals) as well. for this reason i tend to stick with my zulutrade account - thus spreading the risk of manual trading and not stressing too much over a loosing trade.

Ya, I guess greed and desperation comes within different situation but their consequences are basically the same.
Both emotion would make you think irrationally and you won't focus on the right goal.
It's really hard to avoid but a trader must stay away from this kind of emotions.
