If you like scalping trading strategy, you can try Ecn account from freshforex. There are no any minimum deposit and requotes, so it's a good thing for scalpers.
I definitely prefer going with ECN Company, I believe they are the best type and one of the most trustworthy models to work with. I am trading with OctaFX broker which is a worldwide recognized company with servicing in over 170 countries in the world and is also a true ECN and that too an award winning one, so that’s why trading with them is ever so cool and is big reason why I can be so relaxed and comfortable with working, I believe if we want to be successful then we got to be with the best and without doubts, it’s OctaFX which is the best proven by their track records and it’s been nearly 3 years with them for me with absolutely no trouble whatsoever.
I think it’s obvious that ECN is better because the chances of any sort of manipulation are lowered big time. I am using ECN account only with FreshForex and it works very cool given there is zero spread, leverage up to 1:500, instant execution of trades plus much more, it’s all very handy.
Firstly we should be looking at whether the broker is actually regulated or not, if it’s that then our next target must be to go for ECN model, it’s why I am trading with OctaFX, it’s one of the finest ECN broker in the world with having awesome features and facilities especially to do with luxurious offers available like 50% bonus on deposit which is use able plus stuff like instant payments with zero commission plus a lot more, it’s all very cool.

I better suggest staying away from any market maker or dealing desk broker. Better to go with ECN/STP broker and among those we should choose a reputed broker.
